So the eye is more important because it sees the ideas for pictures and it then takes them, but the camera cannot do that without the person. The camera is still important but it can't do all of these things by themselves they need someone to do something.
I think that the most influential person in getting photography where it is to day is Joseph Niepce. He was the one who produced the first successful photo. I think that that is a big step in how photography is today because without the first successful photo who knows what cameras we would have today if he had not done that.
Cameras have changes so much throughout the years. They first started out as a big room and now they can fit in your pocket. But before that there were many different types of cameras made including the pinhole camera, the camera obscura, the daguerreotype and digital cameras. Knowing the history of photography has really made me appreciate photography. It has changes so much. I don't think that I would be into photography if there wasn't digital cameras today. It would just be to hard to take photos whenever you want to. So I am very appreciative of the people who invented cameras and the history of photography. |
